Dynamo rally late, Edge San Diego FC in stops time

Ezequiel PONCE scored late goals, including Go-Farward Score in the 10th minute of the second-half stop time, Houston Dynamo on Saturday rally to win 4-3 over San Diego FC.

Ethan Bartlo sent a pass to Ponce, which gave the game winning the game with his left leg over the penalty area to keep the dynamo (7-9-5, 26 points) for good.

Ponce had earned a chance from late penalty spots in the second half and scored a penalty kick in the 87th minute to tie the score 3-3. The target came after being fouled by San Diego’s FC goalkeeper CJ DOS Santos, which came with a bloody nose.

The delay of injury to DOS Santos created a second-half stop time of 17 minutes.

Houston’s goalkeeper Jonathan Bond made four savings at the Western Conference to help push the club above the playoff line.

Milan Illosci, Luka Bombino and Oni Valakari scored goals for San Diego FC, ending the winning streak of four matches, while still expanding at least three goals in four consecutive matches.

San Diego FC (12-6-3, 39 digits) received a savings from DOS Santos. Extension Club stood first in the west, losing at home for the second time.

San Diego took a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute when Ilosci scored near the penalty spot.

Dynamo also found in the 36th minute when Annali started her first career MLS. Houston first jumped 2–1 in the third minute of the half stoppage time when Escobar scored an explosion from outside the penalty area.

San Diego tied it 2–2 in the 54th minute when Bombino scored on the strike, swinging the left leg through the Bond’s arms. In the 67th minute, San Diego took a 3–2 lead when the shot went towards Anders Draer’s shot, which overturned in Vulkari’s leg and goal.
