Dustin May, Doesers Complete 3-Game Sweep of White Sox

Dustin May entered the eighth innings for the first time in his career as Los Angeles Dojers ended the three-game sweep with a 6–2 win over Chicago White Sox on Thursday.

Freddy Freeman scored a total of three runs on two couples and Michael Conforto and Muki Bates hit each domestic run as Dozers won the ninth time in 10 matches.

May (5–5) faced the first 16 batsmen, which they faced and matching a season high with nine strikes in the seven-plas innings. He started two runs on four hits and one of one walk since he returned from Tommy John Surgery in April.

Brook Baldwin spoiled the May shutout bid with a two -run homer in the eighth, which was fourth of the season.

White Sox Right-Hander Aaron Sivale (1-5) earned five runs, two, on five hits and two on foot in innings. He hit four because Chicago was swept away in a series of at least three games for the ninth time this year.

Baldwin gave the first hit with one in the sixth place for the right field from a ground-ball single for white sox.

Dozers took a 1-0 lead in the first innings when Shohi Ohtani led with a walk and scored an out-out on a double to right field already by Freeman.

Ohtani went back again to open the third innings, and Muki Bates reached the base on the choice of a fielder and an error by White Sox Shortstop Chase Medroth. Formain doubled in the left area to bring both runners home for a 3–0 lead.

Three batsmen later worked correctly for a profit of 5–0. This was Conforto’s seventh long ball of the year.

White Sox Right Fielder Mike Touchman ran a house from Freeman in the fifth when he reached the small wall, while on the run, to make a catch.

Los Angeles’ Teser Hernandez recorded his 1,000th of his 1,000th on the same last third Basman Josh Rosas.

Bates took his first part in the seventh innings, 10th of the season and his first in 21 matches.

Dozers were without the third basman Max Munsi, who went to the wounded list after the bone knee in his left knee during Wednesday’s game.

Triple-e-Oklahoma City called outfielder Estary Ruiz to fill the roster spot, began his leading league season as a defensive replacement of the eighth innings.
