The Daug Ghim made a bogie-free, 9-under-Burbar 62 from the sixth Fairway An Route on Thursday, with the first round lead in John Dere Classic in Silvis, Il.

The Ghim made four of their seven Birds, four of the nine birds in TPC Deere, who were the head of the club house with a shot lead on Max Homa and Austin Acrot. This season has been the first winner on the PGA tour, and the 29 -year -old native of Illinois is trying to become a ghim 10th.

Homa made her best round of 2025 after struggling with her game in the first six months of the season. He was in line for his own 62 before creating his only bogie in his final hole.

Eckroat chose two of its first five holes, immersed a 11-foot put in the first par-5 seconds and then dropped out of 137 yards at the fifth.

As the afternoon wave finished its round, four players were with 7-under 64 at the club house: David Lipsky, Sam Stevens, Justin Lower and previous John Dere Champion Michael Kim. Ricky Fouler posted 6-under 65, with his second nine, 29 on front nine.
