Arizona Diamondback returns home on Monday, expecting the site change may change their recent fate.
Diamondback has lost the worst five games in a season, as they prepare to face Pittsburg Pirates in a three-game series opener on Monday in Phoenix.
“We are all disappointed,” said Arizona’s manager Tori Lovulo. “We are going to achieve this thing, but it is difficult to stomach right now.”
Diamondback Right-Hander will oppose Pirates’ left-handed Andrew Honey (3-3, 2.91) in the opener of the Rhine Nelson (1-1, 4.60 ERA) series.
D-Back has lost its last five matches by a total of six runs, including three one-run setbacks during the weekend in the weekend. They were 6 -for -26 with runners in the scoring position in that series.
“This is an intestine-zanch, of course,” Lovulo said.
Arizona National League Waste-Leiding Los Angeles Dojers live in six matches in six matches, who started Arizona on Skid by winning the last two games of their series last week.
