Erizona Diamondback feels that the dugout has got some confidence with San Francisco giants.

Diamondback will try to win three directly against his National League West rival when he meets Phoenix on Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile, the legends will try to avoid losing a season-high five in a row. He has lost seven of his last eight matches.

Arizona was on a four-game opener on Monday on a four-game losing streak in a four-game series opener, but won 4–2. Diamondback scored four domestic runs in 8–2 win on Tuesday.

“We have a really good lineup,” Diamondback outfielder Jake Macarthi said, who gave a three-run shot on Tuesday, which gave his team a 4–2 lead in the fourth innings. “There are a lot of baseball left this season and I am excited.”

McCarthi was on Opening Day Roster with Diamondback, but was sent to Triple-A Reno after batting .073 through his first 14 matches.

Corbin Carol was recalled on 24 June after going into an injured list with a fragmented wrist and was safely killed in six straight sports.

“I want to keep the productive-batsmen together simultaneously together,” McCarthi said. “I still think I am giving a lot of batting, especially in the game.”

His home run was just the second of 2025 on Tuesday, but he showed some pop in the last season, killing eight on the fence in 142 matches with diamondback.

“It sometimes starts coming and going, but I think I am able to it,” Macarthi said about her power. “I think I am able to do it continuously and I want to show everyone.”

The veterans on Wednesday planned to start the second year right -handed Landon Rup.

RoupP (6-5, 3.43 Era) went 3–1 with 3.20 Era last month.

He limited one run (unknown) and seven hits in 5 1/3 innings of 3–1 to 3–1 victory win last Friday.

“If you ask him, he probably did not have his best stuff,” said giant Catcher Patrick Bailey. “We were talking about it after outing. I think good pitches are really able to keep you in the game when you know that you don’t have your best accessories.”

RoupP showed two reliefs in his career against diamondback, posting 4.76 ERA without any decision.

“I think he is a contestant,” said San Francisco manager Bob Melvin. “He always has a ciner. He throws a ciner on the bottom of the knee for a strike, very often it is a ground ball. This is what he depends.”

Diamondback planned to compete with the right -handed Meril Kelly.

Kelly (7-4, 3.49) posted more than five 2.79 ERAs in June, but proceeded from just 2–2.

He was quite difficult in his most recent outing last Friday, allowing five runs (three acquired) and Miami Marlins six hits in the 9–8 innings.

“Disappointment, disappointing,” Kelly said. “It was really good in the beginning, and then like those middle innings, I don’t know where it went.”

Kelly has started 20 against veterans in her career and is 8–5 with 3.18 ERA.
