Diamondback Ace Corbin Burns Tommy John Surgery

Arizona Diamondback ‘Corbin Burns (39) picked up on 1 June 2025 against the citizens of Washington in the Chess Field in Phoenix.

Corbin Burns Tommy John will undergo surgery, Erizona Diamondback Manager Tori Lovulo revealed on Friday.

Burns on Sunday injured his right (throwing) elbow against the citizens of Washington and released during the fifth innings. He was placed in the injured list on Tuesday, called the inflammation of the elbow.

Lovullo told reporters that Burns would have surgery next week.

Lovulo said, “This was a lot of information, very fast -moving information, many people weighed it, and Corbin felt that it was the best decision for him to continue to move forward,” Lovulo said that there was no timetable for her recovery.

Diamondback signed a 30 -year -old Burns on a six -year, $ 210 million contract in a free agency in December.

Burns won the 2021 National League Cy Young Award, while Milvauki finished fifth in the American League Sye Young Belting last year in his lonely season with Broovers and Baltimore Oriols.

The four-time all-star finished its first season 2.66 ERA in Phoenix 3-2 and 63 in 11.

There are strikeouts in eight sessions with Milwauki Brevers (2018-23), Baltimor Oriols (2024) and Diamondback (2025) in 210 showers (149 start) with 3.15 ERA with Burns 63-38 and 1,114 strikes.
