Delhi Police released advisor ahead of CSK vs RR Today’s IPL match

Next to today’s IPL match between CSK and RR to be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisor, suggesting that the audience is expected to have heavy traffic in the area from 5:30 pm to midnight on a large scale. The match is going to start at 7 pm.

Diversity on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and JLN route

No heavy vehicles and buses will be allowed on the following stretch:

From Darganj to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg
From Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road

Passengers are advised to avoid the following roads from 05:30 am to 12:00 pm on the match:

Affected Roads:

• JLN Marg – Kamla Market Round Abbut till Rajghat to Delhi Gate
• Asaf Ali Road – Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
• Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg – Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (both Carizway)

Admission to Stadium:

Located on the southern side of the stadium

Entry from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg

Located on the eastern part of the stadium

Entering from JLN route next to Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal

Located on the western side of the stadium

Entering from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near petrol pump

Parking:

Free parking and parks and riding facilities are available:

• Mata Sundari Road
• Rajghat Power House Road
• Velodrome Road

The shuttle service will work from these parking sites to the stadium.

Label vehicle parking:

• Only labeled vehicles will be allowed to park near the stadium.

The performance of the parking label on the windscreen is mandatory with the vehicle number and the mobile number of the driver/owner.

• Vehicles will not be allowed without valid labels in the area around the stadium.

Label vehicle parking space:

1. P -1: Four -wheel vehicle in JP Park (OPP Gate No. 3)
2. P -2: Four -wheel in Vikram Nagar parking (near Shaheed Park)
3. P-3: Two-wheelers near JJB/Prayer Office
4. P-4: Four-two vehicles at GLNS School (Def & Dumb School) near JJB/Prayer Office

Admission to all the above parking places will be allowed only through Vikram Nagar cut on BSZ route near Shahidi Park.

General vehicle parking:

No vehicle will be parked on Ring Road from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road from Rajghat to IP flyover (both carriageways) on the match day.

Vehicles parked in these areas will be distant and prosecuted according to the law.

Park and Ride Facility:

Available for audience and unailability vehicles.

Nominated place:

• Mata beautified parking
• Peace van parking
• Rajghat Service Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road (near IG Stadium)

Shuttle Bus Service:

• Starts 2 hours before the match and continues until 1 hour after the match ends.
• Viewers using app-based taxis should use the service lane on the ring road between IP flyover and Rajghat crossing for pick-up and drop-off.
