Defending Champion Tedes Pogacker Win Tour Day France Stage 4

Three -time and defending tour de France Champion Tades Pogkar gathered his first phase victory for this year’s race in stage 4 on Tuesday.

The tour de is a 100th professional win for the 18th stage win in France and the Slovenian star, who attacked the most steep slopes of the 174.2 km route from Amines Metropol.

He overtook Matthew Van Der Pil with two -time champion Jonas Winggard in third place in Stage 4.

Van Der Pael retained the yellow jersey of the overall leader but Pogakar is now a level on time. Vingegaard is in third.

American Mateo Jorgenson climbed one place in fourth place through four stages.

Stage 5 is the first individual time test of this year on Wednesday and it will start and end in CAEN. International Cycling’s premiere 21-stage race will end in Paris on 27 July.
