Deepti Sharma accused Varrez team partner Arushi Goel for cheating Rs 25 lakh, foreign currency theft: report

According to a report, Indian women’s cricket team star Deepti Sharma has accused Delhi Batter Arushi Goel of stealing valuable items from her flat in Agra. Arushi, who is a junior clerk with Indian Railways, has played in the women’s Premier League (WPL) in UP Warrier (UPW). Deepti alleged that Arash immersed her for Rs 25 lakh and broke her in her Agra flat to steal valuables including gold and silver jewelery and Rs 2 lakh in foreign currency.
According to a report by the Times of India (TOI), Deepti’s brother, Sumit Sharma filed a complaint at Sadar police station in Agra.
“Deepti’s brother, Sumit Sharma contacted Sadar police station with the complaint. Prima Feshi, we found some truth in the complaint and BNS section 305 (a) (theft), 331 (3) (house braking), 316 (2) (criminal violation of the trust) filed an FIR and said 352 (” Sharma said.
The report said that Arushi and his parents started exploiting Deepti financially, citing various emergency situations.
The report said, “Through their association in the same team, two cricketers became close to two cricketers. Then, Arushi and his parents started to financially exploit the deept, citing the family’s emergency situations and financial crisis.”
According to the news agency Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), DCP Sonam Kumar said, “Deepti Sharma, UP DSP and Indian women cricketer, junior player Arushi Goyal and his family, face a fraud of Rs 25 lakh, with a fraud of Rs 25 lakh. Deepti’s brother has filed a codar after the residence.
On a professional front, Deepti was recently named in India’s White-Ball team for the upcoming England tour.
The tour of England will include five T20s and three Odis. The series will be kickstart with the first T20i in Nottingham, and the final T20i will be held in Birmingham from July 12.
On the other hand, the first ODI will be in Southampton on 16 July, and the series will end on 22 July with a third ODI in Chester-Le-Street.
On the other hand, Arushi was planted for Rs 10 lakh ahead of WPL 2025.
