Daniel Suarez announced on Tuesday that he and Trackhouse Racing “agreed to participate mutually” after the 2025 NACAR Cup series season.

Suarez has run number 99 Chevrolet for trackhouse since 2021. Both of her cups series came with the winning team (Sonoma in 2022, Atlanta in 2024).

He was the 2015 Xfinity Series Ruki of the Year, 2016 Xfinity Series Champion and the only Mexican-birth driver to win a cup series race.

It is not clear where Suarez will go after finishing the year with the trackhouse. He spent time with both Gibbs Racing and Stewart-Has Racing before joining the team.

“Trackhouse and I have been mutually agreed at the end of the 2025 season,” Suarez said in a statement. “I have some great years of my cup series career in trackhouse. We got great success as a team and I got some incredible friends. We had taken a team, which no one had heard in 2021 and we were winning the race in just a few years and moving forward on a weekly basis.

“Like seasons in a year, sometimes things change and we have agreed to go in our direction. I want the trackhouse to go, but this 99 team will always be special for me. And as I always say, ‘Best ahead!”

Team owner Justin Marx said in a statement that Suarez played an important role in the first five years of the history of trackhouse racing.

Marx said, “His commitment to the attempt, work morality and dedication is one of the most influential things I have personally seen in my career.” “We will always be thankful and honored that Daniel chose to spend many incredible years with us. We are proud of his victory, his successes, his brand growth, and his emergence as a valuable athlete in America’s largest motorsport. But, what am I doing as a friend for him.

Suarez is currently ranked 29th in the Cup Series Standing.
