D-Back 2B Katel Marte in tears after fan’s oral attack

Arizona won over the host Chicago White Socx on Tuesday night with derogatory remarks about the dead mother of Diamondback, a fan, a fan.
Marte was blind and tears in tears on the field in the seventh innings after the incident during his At-Bate to eliminate the top of the frame.
Diamondback manager Tori Luvolo placed his hand around Marte and spoke with him during a pitching change, while white sox was batting.
Lovulo said he heard what the fan said but refused after repeating the game.
Lovullo said, “When I heard I used to see (Marte) properly.” “I saw him right and he saw the person too. He put his head down and I could tell that it had immediate effect, of course.”
“I just reacted as a father when I went out to replace the pitcher,” Lovullo said. “I could see that he was absorbing. It hurt.”
“(I told him), ‘I love you and I am with you and we are not alone together. No matter what happens, whatever has been said or what you heard, the man is a stupid. It should not affect you.” ,
Lovullo and bench coach Jeff Banister approached security at the rate field and requested that the man be evicted, a diamondback spokesperson told Erizona Republic.
Marte’s mother, Alpedia Waldez died in a car accident in the Republic of Dominican in 2017. Marte refused to comment after a 4–1 victory, during which he moved to 2-for-4 to increase his batting average.
His team’s partner, Shortstop Geraldo Pardomo also consoled Mart during the pitching change. Pardomo was angry about the incident, as he later told reporters.
“It can’t happen,” said Pardomo. “Everyone knows how to have a cattle. He is fun. He works hard for the game. I feel mad about it. I hope MLB can do something with the man. I don’t know who it was, but he has got to do something. We cannot continue doing so in MLB here.”
“He must be banned, of course,” said Pardomo.
Lovulo called the incident “a terrible moment” and he feels that he needs to support his players as he is his father.
“Fans are bad, and fans go far,” he said. “I love my players, and I am going to protect them.
“I have known Katel for nine years, and they have some incredibly great moments and some difficulties. Some, some really, there are really difficult moments in their lives, and I know those people. At the end of the day, we are humans and we have feelings. I saw him hurt, and I wanted to protect him.”
