Cummins & Co. require ‘pulling an RCB’ to qualify for IPL 2025 playoffs.

KKR has currently been ranked 9th on the IPL 2025 point table and has played half of his group stage matches.
Last year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) finalist, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), are at the disturbed place. After losing to Mumbai Indians (Mi) at the Wankhede Stadium, the 2016 champions may already be out of the IPL 2025 playoff race.
Performance so far
As of 17 April, SRH has played 7 out of its 14 group-phase matches. He has a record of 2–5 and has a tenth part on the point table.
SRH began defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) in its first match. From there, he has lost 5 of the next 6 matches. His only win is over Punjab Kings (PBK). And SRH does not have a losing pattern. He has not performed well against top teams like Delhi Capital (DC) or Gujarat Titans (GT) or against middle-table teams like Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) or MI.
Victory: RR (in 8th place), PBK (4th place)
Loss: LSG (in 5th place), DC (1 rank), KKR (6th place), GT (in 2nd place), MI (7th in 7th)
IPL 2025 Playoff: KKR Qualification Scenario
16 points usually guarantee your IPL 2025 playoff qualifications. And SRH will aim for this. Last year, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) qualified with 14 points, but in 2022 and 2023, 16 points were cutoff for the final four. it suggests SRH needs to win 6 of the remaining 7 matches.
Doing so will be a Hercules. For the beginning, SRH will face Mi in his next match 6 days later. It will not be easy. The next game may be easy, as they face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 25 April, the only side that is less than that.
Remaining matches
Home: Mi (23 April), DC (May 5), KKR (May 10)
away, CSK (25 April), GT (May 2), RCB (May 13), LSG (May 18)
However, they then face DC, GT, KKR and LSG. All these teams have already defeated him. Of course, there is also RCB, which he has not played. With all measures, SRH IPL 2025 saw exiting the playoff race. They have to go to a historic run to qualify. But last year, RCB won its last five group stage matches to make the last four. SRH hopes that they make it again.
