“Cricketers sent me naked pictures”: Anaya, Sanjay Bangar’s child who confirms the gender again

Anaya Bangar, a child of former Indian cricketer and coach Sanjay Bangar, shared a journey of change after a hormonal replacement therapy and gender refirming surgery last year. Anaya, formerly named Aryan, is an athlete and played the role of the age group of cricket at the footsteps of Sanjay Bangar. But Anaya revealed that there were significant obstacles in chasing a cricket career after gender surgery. Anaya currently lives in the United Kingdom.
Anaya’s journey has not been easy from the beginning. In a recent interview, Anaya revealed ‘toxic masculin’ in the cricket world.
In the interview, lallantop was given, Anaya was asked: “When do you feel ‘I am in the wrongly chosen penis?” ,
“It was for me when I was eight or nine years old, I used to choose clothes from my mother’s cupboard and wore them. Then, I looked in the mirror and used to say, ‘I am a girl. I want to be a girl’,” Said Anaya.
“I played with some famous cricketers such as now Musir Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Yashsvi Jaiswal. I had to maintain secrecy about myself because Dad is a famous person. The cricket world is full of insecurity and poisonous masculinity.”
Anaya was then asked about the response of fellow cricketers when the gender re -confirmed the surgery. “Support has been done as well as some harassment,” Anaya said.
“What kind of harassment?” The langar asked.
“There have been some cricketers who randomly sent me nude pictures of him,” Anaya replied.
Anaya then went to speak about a person, who was involved in oral misconduct. “The person used to give Gallis in front of everyone. The same person then sat next to me and asked for my pictures. Another example was when I was in India, I told A Paune (Experienced) cricketer about my situation. He told me that let’s go in the car, I want to sleep with you. ,
Like Bangar, Anaya is also a cricketer who has represented Islam Gymkhana in local club cricket. Apart from this, the left -handed batsman has also played for the Hinkle Cricket Club in Lessestershire.
However, in November 2023, the International Cricket Council (ICC) stated that transgender athletes would not be allowed to participate in women’s cricket.
ICC CEO Geoff Alardis said, “Including as a sport is incredibly important for us, but our priority was to protect the integrity of international women’s sports and the safety of players.”
On being taken to Instagram, Anaya also shared a long post to express disappointment on the new ICC rule.
Anaya (first Aryan) is currently living in Manchester and is very active on Instagram and always keeps followers updated.
