“Cricket poor without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli”

Route reached the international landscape after a few years compared to Rohit and Kohli, but quickly became their terrible rival.

Martin Crowe coined the word ‘Fab 4’ on 29 August 2014. It was the way of New Zealand’s former New Zealand that described four best youth test batsmen in the world. According to him, these four will be the biggest red ball batsman in the coming years. Crowe left the world in 2016 but until then, his prediction proved to be correct.

However, about 11 years after his claim. Fab 4 of 1/4 retired. Virat Kohli Boli Test Cricket Adeeu last month. With around 10,000 runs and 30 hundreds of runs for his name. Naturally, the cricket world celebrated Kohli, test player. And now one of his biggest rivals and another Fab 4 member has talked about him.

Praise of Kohli is called Root

Former England captain Joe Root says he never saw Kohli as his competition. Instead, he was often under his fear. Anyone can say that whatever they want about Kohli, but he put nothing on Test cricket. He said this even after winning his first IPL Trophy.

Kohli fought like his life. He was always pumped. He celebrated the wicket as he was taking them. Root will remember this. He will not forget his fight on the field.

“I have never been in competition with Virat. It is what I have always praised and thought, ‘Wow, what is a player. I will remember the battles that we were on the field, but it gives opportunity to other players to try and make his mark on Test cricket,” Root told Sony Sports Network.

Root thinks that cricket will be poor as a game as a game. Both of them retired from T20I after the 2024 T20 World Cup and have now left Test cricket.

“Cricket is poor without being around them. They are two Indian legends. They have done amazing things for Indian cricket for so long. It will be a slightly different form for the series, but we still expect it to be highly competitive,” Root said.
