Crew host Nashville SC injured keeper without Patrick Shulte

Serging Nashville SC is getting stronger in his match at Columbus Crew on Wednesday.
Already claiming four wins and two relations in their last six MLS matches, Nashville (8-4-3, 27 points) welcomed the standout defender walker Jimraman for the last 17 minutes during the 2–1 victory on Toronto FC on Saturday.
The two -time MLS Defender of the Year (2020, 2021) maintained an attachment against Charlotte FC on 5 April.
“He is the captain of your team, so it is an uplift for everyone,” said Nashville coach, BJ Kailaghan. “Even though he has not been on the field, he has been in convenience. It is always the presence. He has always led, but yes, the group gets a lift when he steps back on the field.”
The crew (7-2-6, 27 points) is now a team facing health concerns.
Goalkeeper Patrick Shulte, who was nominated for June Friendly against Turkey and Switzerland in the 27-Khiladi US National Team Roster, suffered a slanting injury before the match at Charlot on Saturday. Crew coach Wilfred Nancy said on Tuesday that he would miss for two to six weeks.
Backup Nicholas Hagan made eight savings in 3–2 defeat.
On a positive note, the 2024 MLS defender of the year Steven Morera should be available after leaving the Charlotte match with a toe.
The crew wins in the last four matches (0–1-3) and proved to be unsafe at the counter against Charlotte. This is part of their high-risk, high-inam attack.
Crew midfielder Darlington Nagbe said, “I think this is the result of pushing the game forward and trying to stay on the front leg all the time, which is positive, that’s why we have been a successful team.”
Kailaghan is uncertain if Zimraman will get the beginning on Wednesday. Nashville has allowed only six goals in the last six matches.
“I have some very difficult decisions,” said Kailaghan. “Center back is playing very well. The backline is really playing well. We will see how everyone recovers and kept the best team out against Columbus.”
