“Complete and Uter …”: Ben Stokes responds to criticism of England’s training methods

Beyond England’s White-Ball Series against the West Indies, star all-rounder Ben Stokes broke his silence on criticism that the three Lions faced for their practice ways. The England cricket team is getting late heavy slamming while following their poor appearance. Some former players and experts also claimed that England players were focused more on playing golf than cricket. In January this year this year, such comments were made during the five -match ODI ODI series and three T20Is visit to India. While the hosts defeated England 4–1 in the ODI series, they cleaned the guests in the T20I series.

In a poor performance, England expelled the 2025 Champions Trophy from the group stage, which was played themselves after losing three matches. Even Jose Butler stepped down from the role of England’s white-ball captaincy, which has now been handed over to Harry Brook.

England’s Test Captain Stokes told Sky Sports, “When you hear the comments saying that we do not train enough, we are more upset about golf, we do not work hard, it is completely and completely (fuck),” England’s Test Captain Stokes told Sky Sports.

“You are not going to be able to become an international player for a long time. If you do not have work morality and everyone who runs in the test team, white-ball team is unreliable. They are professional athletes, this is their job.

“There are reasons why we do things in such a way that we do it and they are the reason for us to talk together in the dressing room. Whatever we do is a reason.

“What we try and what we do takes some additional pressure from people’s shoulders. When you see us doing some things that people can wonder why we are doing this, then there is one reason why we do this.”

Ben Stokes had called time on his white-ball career before returning to the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. He has not been nominated in England’s upcoming White-Ball Series vs. West Indies, headed by Brook. However, he remains fully active as a player in the test.

“In the context of my role as a player, he is trying to dominate every situation, batting on full semen, six, I find myself whether I have got a bat or ball in my hand, which I want to return to the field, on the biggest stage. I know on the biggest stage. I know that I have done this before, this is something that I can do with myself,” said that I said with a lot of confidence in myself.
