Coco Goff ends racket accident to win the first round match

Coco Goff faced a joke to win a laugh in his first round match at the French Open in Paris on Tuesday.
First, the fun part: Gauf arrived at the court Philip-Chathrier without his racket.
A ball boy rescued the day by recovering the equipment and the other seed ghap shook transient mix-up, requiring just 71 minutes to win 6–2, 6–2 over Olivia Gadeki, Australia.
“Honestly, as long as I have been on the tour, my coach has always put rackets in the bag before the match because he is very superstitious,” Goff said. “I am blaming it on my coach. That’s fine.”
There was no need for any defect about Gauf’s performance, which took a 3–2 lead before winning six straight games to change the color of the match.
The Goff will take the check qualifier Tereza Valentova in the second round on Thursday. Valentova won 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 on the Chloe Picture of France on Tuesday.
Like Gauf, the third seeded Jessica Pegula had little issue with her first round enemy, for a 6–2, 6-4 victory over Romanian ANCA Todony.
Russia’s sixth seed Mirra Andreva won 6-4, 6-3 over Spain’s Christina Buxa, while Poland’s 25th seed Magdelena Freach won a difficult first-set by winning 6–0 over Tunisia’s Onas Jabur.
Sophia Kenin, who is 31st seeded, won 6-3, 6–1 over Varwara Granchewa in France.
Beatries Hadad Mia, who was in 23rd, was not as lucky. Haley Baptist picked up Brazil 4-6, 6-3, 6–1.
Apart from this, Ashlin Krugger, England’s Sonay Kartal, Elsa Jequmot of France, Ekhelina Kalinina of Ukraine, Victoria Azranka of Belarus, Nao Hibbino of Japan and 2019 finalist Marketta Marketta Republic of Wondrasova.
