In a matchup by the undefinished Group A teams to open the Week 6, Cloud 9 reduced the team liquid 2–0 on Saturday, which improved 3–0 in LTA North 2025 Split 2 of the League of Legends Tournament at Los Angeles.
Shopify rebellion won its first win, defeating 100 thieves 2–1 in Group B play. Flycuest is the only team in Group B at 2–0.
Eight teams competed in positioning plays-one round-robin format in which each team plays one other seven times. Each match was a map and the results were determined for the group A and B for the group phase, which began from 26 April and lasts till 18 May.
After the group play and a week-long cross-group battles, the top six teams will proceed to the best-five, double-elimination playoffs on May 15, May 24 on May 15.
The total prize pool is $ 160,000, with $ 80,000 going to the winner and $ 40,000 is for a runner-up. The winner also gets entry into the mid-season invitational and qualify for the winner and runner-up asports World Cup.
On Sunday, the flycuest (2–0) takes Dignitas (1–1) in Group B, and Leon (0–2) face disguised (0–2).
