Chris Sale allowed one run on a seven-plus major innings and Visiting Atlanta Braves on Monday hit three homeers to snap a seven-game losing line with a 7–1 win over Milwauki Broovers.
Matt Olson and Ellie White hit each two-run Homer and Ronald Ekuna Junior. For Braves, a single homer belted, who lost 14 of their last 17 matches.
Sales (4-4) allowed five hits, hit a season-high 11 and two ran into 103-pitch outing. This was the 91st time of his career when he hit at least 10.
Raisel Iglessius finished eighth, and Dylan Lee ended with an ideal ninth.
Brews’s second Basman Ozy Albies sang in the sixth and eighth innings, leading to 1,000 career hits and his career-high on-base Streak was extended to 24 games.
Austin Riley made three hits for Braves, and Marcel Ozuna added two hits.
Milwauki Starter Aaron Sivale (1-2) scored two runs on five hits and walked two in 4 2/3 innings. He hit five.
Atlanta wiped out a 1-0 deficiency with three runs in the fifth. Ekuna tied it with her fifth homer, with an out solo shot with the right-center. The relay doubled Sivale with two outsiders. DL Hall gave relief, and Olson sent his first pitch 417 feet to its 14th Homer.
White made it 5–1 in the eighth with his third homer. Ozuna of Atlanta added a two -run singles in the ninth.
Milwauki has lost three of his last four matches, scoring only one run run in three defeats.
Brucers took a 1-0 lead in the third when Joy Artiz opened with a double in the Right Field corner, moved to third place on a flyout and scored at the center on the single of William Contraras.
Braves had runners in scoring positions in both the second and fourth innings, but Sivale worked out of each jam.
