NASCAR gave 60 points to Cup series driver Chris Busher on Thursday for an inappropriate front bumper assembly in the Sunday race at Kansas Speedway.

The RFK racing driver dapped from 12th to 28th in season standing, resulting in a 226 points to Leader William Bayran.

Busher’s No. 17 Ford Mustang was inspected after he finished eighth in Kansas and officials determined that the car is higher than the maximum reinforcement allowed for the front bumper cover.

Bushar’s team was also fined $ 75,000 and the crew’s chief Scott Graves were suspended for two races.

32-year-old Bushar has done only one top-five finish through 13 this year, showing fifth position in Phoenix on 9 March.

He won six career in the cup series, recently in Watkins Glenn last September.
