Atlanta Braves Great Chopper Jones and Marcus Grissom were named managers for the 2025 All-Star Futures Games on Monday.
The Hall of Famer Jones will manage the National League Minor Legars and will be opposed by the American League by two-stars Grisom. The seven-inning game will be played in Atlanta on 12 July.
The inclusion of Jones as coaches will be former Braves Mark Derosa (bench coach), Andrew Jones (Hitting Coach) and Tim Hudson (Pitching Coach) among others.
Grisom coaches include Jerry Manual (Bench Coach), Fred McGrif (Hitting Coach) and Dale Murphy (first base coach).
The 26th edition of the futures game includes the top modest league possibilities competing as the All-Star Saturday. This format was replaced to be NL vs AL in 2019 after 20 years of US vs. World Matchup.
The all-star game will be played on 15 July in Atlanta.
