Chicago Sky increased a second half by Minnesota Links on Saturday afternoon in Chicago, and a 27-point performance by Ariel Etkins led the domestic squad to win the 87-81 win over the top team in WNBA Standing.

In his second game back from injury, and in the first lineup for the first time, Kamila Cardaso had 17 points and 15 rebounds, while fellow Big Angeel Reese scored 19 points with 11 rebounds for the eighth double-dabble of Forward in a row.

Win for Chicago (7–13) is the first win for a team for Sky, better than .500 records in the regular session of 2025.

With the remaining 42.9 seconds, Rachel Banam excluded the game from the reach of Links (18-4). Minnesota focused on its defense on cards and rees, so Banum exploited the inner space and hit a running -up, which carried the sky ahead with five points.

On the latter occupation, the Minnesota Guard Curtainy Williams went up to three on a defensive switch, but the 6 -Foot -7 cards blocked the 5 -foot -8 guard attempt and captured the sky back.

Akash used all the games of its shape and excluded the links from 45–28 and scored 16 more points in the paint compared to visitors.

Chicago led 15 points in the third quarter, but Minnesota dropped it down for a six-point deficit at the end of the quarter and cut it into the same possession, when Neeffa Kolier shot a 12-foot jump in a minute in the fourth.

Kolier led Links with 26 points, while Kayla McBrid scored 17 runs and Curtainy Williams added 13. He was only three players on the Links Roster, who had only 11 points coming away from the Linux bench to hit the double-designated scoring.

Contributing to his troubles, there was a third road game for links in four days in 12 days to start July on Saturday.

Both teams play in Chicago again on Monday night, the third game between the two teams in eight days.
