After RCB suffers from 8-cicat thrashing at the hands of RCB, PBK will be expected to bounce back to win against MI
After suffering a dramatic collapse against RCB, Punjab Kings will be desperate to take down the mighty MI in their Qualifier 2 clash on Sunday. Shreyas Iyer and co. were handed a 8-wicket thrashing by Bengaluru after being bundled out for just 101 runs in Qualifier 1. While they did get another chance to book a berth in the final by the virtue of a top finish in the league stage, the game against MI won’t be a cakewalk for PBKS.

PBKS will be hoping that Chahal will return to the playing XI for the tie against MI. The veteran spinner missed Qualifier 1 due to a wrist injury. However, he was seen bowling on the sidelines of the Narendra Modi stadium on the eve of the match.
PBKS batters will be hoping to put up a better show vs MI after completely failing to fire in the previous match. It will be of extreme importance for Iyer and co. to not play impulsive shots and trigger a collapse. Captain Shreyas, who has had a splendid season so far, will be eyeing to score his 6th half-century in what is a must-win game for PBKS in order to keep their hopes of winning their maiden IPL title alive.
