Carry Carpenter (Hamstring) Tigers Place on IL

Manager AJ Hinch said on Tuesday that Detroit Tigers are keeping outfielder Kerry Carpenter in the 10-day injured list due to a correct hamstring issue.

The Tigers planned to remember Infielder Tray Sweeny from Triple-e-Toledo in the same step before the opener of Tuesday’s series against National in Washington, DC.

On Monday, an MRI did not show any significant damage to the carpenter, but Hinch stated that the American League-Leading Tigers would be cautious with 12 matches until the all-star break.

The 27 -year -old carpenter is batting. 257 with 16 domestic runs and 32 RBI through 78 matches this season, his fourth with Detroit.

25 -year -old Sweeny batted with tigers in 70 matches this season with four homes and 23 RBI. He was sent to Toledo on Saturday.
