Carlos Santana gave a belt to a Grand Slam, Lane Thomas hit a three-run homer and Logan Alan played six concrete innings as the parents of Cleveland visited Sinsinati Reds 11–2 on Wednesday afternoon.
In the third innings from San Lodolo (4-5), Santana went deep, Angel Martinez, Thomas and Jose Ramirez scored as Cleveland took a 5–0 lead at the conclusion of the three-game series. The moment took place on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of his major league with Cleveland.
The 39 -year -old Santana became the second oldest player in history to hit a Grand Slam. He ranks eighth in the major League history among the switch-hitter with 332 homeers.
