St. Louis Cardinals expected to tighten the National League Central Race, facing the Chicago cub seven times in a span of 14 days.
They will continue the discovery on Tuesday night when they host Chicago in the second game of the four-market series at Bush Stadium. The teams will play a three-game chain in the Wrigley Field on 4-6 July.
Climbing the cub’s 3 1/2 games, Cardinals rolled to win 8-2 on Monday night. He also moved into a tie with Milwoki Bruers for the second place in the division.
“When you see it, you want to control your destiny as soon as possible,” said Oliver Marmol, manager of Cardinals. “The only way to do this is a game at a time. We took the first, we will focus on tomorrow and try to do so.”
Cardinals have recently won six of their last seven matches after snatching the six-game losing streak.
Left -handed Hitters Alek Burlson (.364, .96 Oms, 16 RBI in June), Lars Nutbar (6 -for -19, two homes, five RBI in their last five matches), and Nlann Gord Gord (two couples, two homes, six RBIS last nine games) helped production.
Baraleson, Nutbar, Gorda and Brendon Donovan won two runs in the win on Monday night. Cardinals hit only 74 homes in their first 78 matches this season.
“The Left did a really good job with homeers,” Marmol said. “But in all ways I liked our view. Some powerful swings, some homes, loved it every second.”
Cardinals will start with right-handed Michael McGrayi (1–1, 2.70 ERA), who placed Chicago White Sox on a run on three hits in five innings in their recent Thursday.
McGrivi, who spent most of the time of this season in Triple-A Memphis, will start his first career against the cub.
The cub has scored 46 runs while losing four of their last five matches. They will look at Pitcher Jameson Tellan (7-4, 3.84) on Tuesday to bring them back to the track.
Last Thursday, Tillan conceded five runs on eight hits, including two homes in four innings of domestic loss of 8–7 to Millvoukie Breves.
“He was not just his best day,” said Brucers Manager Craig Counsel. “Just left a few pitches like the middle-east of the plate, some braking balls up.”

“Just did not do a good job of throwing the pitch strike first, so it’s something I think I am usually very good,” Tillan said. “I felt that it made me more than normal, making it difficult.”
He also said, “(i) No good sliders today thrown away.”
Tylon is 6–2, which is with 3.33 ERA in 16 careers against cardinals.
The cub in front of the series promoted Pitcher Michael Phulmar from Triple-e-Ioa and demoted the pitcher NAT Piercene. Fulmar appeared in relief on Monday night, giving two hits in two scorers innings.
