Cardinals put CB Sean Murphy-Dutting in Non-Football injury list

Arizona Cardinals on Thursday placed cornerback Sean Murphy-Dutting in the list of reserve/non-football injury, a step that would clearly terminate its 2025 season.
Neither the representatives of Cardinals nor Murphy-Dotting have expanded what happened.
A team can place players in the NFI list for unrelated injuries to football or injuries that did not occur during NFL Games and Practices.
Murphy-Dutting launched 15 out of 15 games played for cardinals in the previous season and matched the high levels of his career of three interception. He had 52 tackles and two forcibly fambles.
Merffi-Dutting, which turned 28 next month, has played 82 games (65 start) in six sessions with Tampa Baukeners (2019-22), Tenasi Titans (2023) and Cardinals. They have 11 interception, return one for a touchdown in 2019, as well as 297 tackle, 34 pass defense and eight forced fambles. She was a second round pick by Tampa Bay in the 2019 draft.
Arizona chose Will Johnson of Michigan in the second round of 2025 drafts. Johnson was considered a potential top 10 pick before the 2024 season, but dropped the draft boards due to the knee issue.
