
The possibility of Houston Astro’s top order will get a chance to deliver the second baseless Bryce Mathews from Triple-A Chinese land to his promise after the club on Friday.
Astro has not yet announced the same step.
The contract of Mathews was purchased from Chinese land before the three-game series against Texas Rangers.
The arrival of Matthews in major leagues will exclude it in Atlanta from Saturday’s MLB All-Star Futures Game, when he was chosen after a producer on the Chinese land after the first half. He batted with .876 OPS, 10 Home runs and 39 RBI in 73 matches, while his 25 stolen base is fourth in the Pacific Coast League.
The 23 -year -old, which began with an appearance in the shortstop and center field this season, was the Astroz Minor League Player of the Month in June when he batted. Four domestic runs in 25 games and 306 with 16 RBI. He came after being a hit for the cycle in the May 10 game against Sacramento River Cats.
Matthews is a native of a Houston-region, who was selected in 2023 drafts out of Nebraska with number 28 overall pick. He was ranked as Houston’s top probability by the MLB pipeline.
