Cal Rale hit 31st Homer as Meriners Hammer Cub

Cal Raili hit his chief-league for 31st domestic runs and Donovan Solano on Sunday scored five runs to lead the visiting Seattle Meriners to win a 14–6 victory over Chicago cub.

Joint teams for nine homes scored a hot and wind in the Wrigley Field. Twenty-one domestic runs were killed in the three-game series.

Both Solano and Dominic Canzone had two domestic runs for Mariners.

Seya Suzuki had a pair of domestic runs for the cub and Kyle had one -McGire one.

Logan Gilbert (2–2, 3.12 ERA) won. The right -handed batsman conceded four runs on eight hits including three domestic runs in five innings. He did not see anyone and made six strikes on 90 pitches.

Colin Ri (4-3, 4.42 ERA) suffered losses. The right -handed batsman conceded seven runs on 11 hits, including four domestic runs in 5 1/3 innings. He only went away and hit two on 89 pitches.

Meriners first started scoring when JP Crawford led a single. He scored when Raley drilled the first pitch, which he saw at the Center Field Blenchers for the fourth Homer of the series and had a 2–0 lead.

Suzuki cut off the lead in half with two-out home runs at the bottom of Inning.

Canzone made 3–1 meriners with two-out home runs in the second and Solano made it 4–1 with an out-out Homer in the fourth.

Raley started another rally with one single each in the fifth. Randy Arzrena brought him home with two-out single and 5–1 meriners’ leads.

The cub returned to the fifth when McGire attended the center with a domestic run.

Tucker placed the inning with two-out single and Suzuki crushed her second home run deep and cut Mariners 5-4.

In the sixth, Canzone’s account home run gave merriners a couple of runs, which they would not abandon.

Meriners were moving from 9–6 when they kept the cub away with the eighth of five runs, which was highlighted by Azrena by a two-ride, base-loaded double.
