C Wu Kim shoots 66, RBC holds a third round lead

SI Wu Kim of South Korea shot 5-in-Ender-Burbar 66 to proceed in RBC inheritance in the third round of Saturday.

Kim 15-Ender is in 198, a-shot on Thomas and Andrew Novak, going into the Harbor Town Golf Link in the last round of Sunday.

Both Thomas (69) and Novak (66) have three sub -70 rounds in the tournament. Mavick McNealy (65) is at fourth place under 13.

Kim, 29, will aim to win his fifth PGA tour and his first in more than two years. His leadership was reduced to the final hole when he had the only bogie at number 18, while Thomas, who was in the final pair with him, was looking at a shirt.

Brian Harman (66) and England’s Tommy Fleetwood (68) ranks fifth in 12th place.

Defending champion Scotty Sheffler shot 68, went below 11 and finished seventh with Russell Henley (70).

Thomas first took a 36-hole tournament lead after 2022, two on Kim and Henley, but had an incident in a third round.

Thomas was assessed a one-stroke penalty on the second hole, when they transferred the ball to a useless bunker. Nevertheless, he ended with Par-5 on the hole.

Later, he hit out of a water threat to number 11 and did not recover at the same time, taking his first bogie of the round. At number 15, his bogie dropped him three strokes behind Kim.

Then at Par-3 number 17, Thomas was away from green after his tea shot, but it ended with equal.

Novak had a bogie -free phase, in which two of his Birds were coming to the para -3 hole.

McNealy recorded his second 65 in a row, extended by 5 under the front nine. He took all three para -3 layouts during the round.
