Busy links discovered ways to win with the next better sky

As the 2025 WNBA season approaches its all-star weekend, Minnesota Links as the head of Chicago for two games against Akash in a gap of three days in Chicago, as they continue a hard run of sports.

Since Minnesota (18-3) entered July, the league runner-up of the previous season has played six games in a span of 10 days. After the defeat of Cetleen Clarke-cum Indiana fever in the Commissioner Cup Championship game on 1 July, Links won four of the next five matches. The effort came with a proper stake of dramatic finish and standout roll-play performances.

“We have some players who are actually good players who are struggling to find below,” said Cheryl Reve, head coach of Links. “Shots are not falling as much as they are accustomed. Finding ways to win when your best players are not playing their best, then there is something that we should really be happy about.”

The second year Minnesota Guard Courtney Williams has excelled in the last seven regular season games with an average of 16.4 points, above the average of 14.0 seasons. Williams scored 16 points on Thursday, in which a team from Reserve Guard Natasha Hydeman won 91-82 over a high 18 points Los Angeles Sparks.

Akash (6-13) The first year head coach Tyler Marsh shows improvement after a slow start in the season, even though the results are still not falling in their way. After a week’s holiday, Chicago won one in three matches, but went down to the last bajar loss to Links and Washington Mistics.

Marsh said, “We fight through all the things we have gone through this season, everything that we go through the game,” Marsh said. “We do not break and we will not break and regardless of what I have been shown. I found a team of fighters in the locker room filled with fighters.”

Chicago on Wednesday carried out the 87-76 win over Dallas Wings with 15 points and Angel Reese in a row for the seventh double-dabble with 11 reese. This is the longest active line in the league. There was also an overlapping six-game streak where Reez had at least 15 rebounds, a WNBA record.

Chicago and Minnesota met on July 6 when Sky rose in the first quarter of 24–10 before winning Sky 80–75. The teams will shut down the four-game regular season series in Minnesota on 22 July.
