Bryson Decombo made his way in a tie for lead in Live Golf Virginia

Bryson Decombo pasted his way for an eagle and a Berdy for 5-under-Burbar 66, and he shared the first round lead with Martin Caimmer of Germany in Live Golf Virginia in Ganesville, VA on Friday.
Decombo shot the leaderboard after a brief weather delay, which begs Par-5 on 14th and Robert Trent Jones Burking each of the next two holes at the Golf Club.
His chip at number 14 was a soft placement next to a slope, and his ball rolled into the cup from the right side. Par-4 on 16th, he missed the green color and thrown his third shot out of some thick rough, only to look at his ball directly on the pin and disappeared again.
“Dude, what’s good is coming under some soft conditions,” said Decombo. “That small chip shot became very easy for me. So I drove it out in exactly what I saw. I did not know if you saw it, but I was studying it before leaving it. I was as if it looked perfect, it came out, it seemed right, still looked perfect, hit it where I wanted, and it wanted to be correct in Frikin’s hole.”
DechaMbeau is tuning to protect its title at the US Open next week at the Omont Country Club. He is one of the several LIV members who were either invited by USGA or qualified for the third head of the year.
Australia’s Mark Lishman finished third on the qualifying site in nearby Rockville, MD on Monday, to grab one of the four spots available there. Lishman shot 67 on Friday.
Leishman Phil is at third place with Mikelson, who can play at his last US Open next week; John Rahm of Spain, who will look for a big win of his third career; Jokin Neemon of Chile, who received the first special invitation of USGA based on live performance; Aniran Lahiri of India; And Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland.
