Bryson Dechambo: A little luck, a lot of skills are required to pull the major win

Phil Mikelson and Brox Koipka are live golf members, who have the biggest success in their career with six and five titles respectively. But these days, the best bet from that league to win a major is Bryson Decombo.
Decombo returned to the winner’s circle and captured his second US Open last year, when he dropped Rory McLero down. In addition, he has been in a more consistent dispute than before with a tie for the fifth in Masters last month and is a runner-up finish for Xander Schaffele in the 2024 PGA Championship.
Only Mcilroy and Scotti Scheffler have less obstacles than dechambeau in most of the major sportsbooks to win the PGA championship this week in Quail Hallow this week.
“It’s exciting time,” Decombo told reporters on Tuesday. “I’m playing something good golf. Hopefully this week continues. I detect some things with my golf swing. Actually putting well. Love the golf course this week.”
The 31 -year -old has ended in the top six in four of the last five big companies, the only exception to the open championship in July.
“I think I always have the ability to play well in the leading championship and struggle continuously,” said Decombo. “A lot of things have to go right in big companies to play well. Your entire game is to be on.”
At the Vallah Golf Club in 2024, Dechambo ran the toe to the toe with Shoffel and posted for less than 20 under 64 on Sunday. However, Sheffel made him a better with a shirt, which was in Par-5 18th to win the Major.
“A little fortune and one or two shots are going in your way, you are putting a put from 7, 8 feet,” said Decombo. “There are many players who are playing well this week that are going to be a chance. … a little luck but also with more skills than 72 holes of golf.
“To give you a chance to win, everyone has to mix together. This is what Xander did so well last year. I did not get work due to one or two shots. That’s it.”
Dechambo has also done a better handle on the mental side of the game these days even after the decline below, after the decline below, after chasing the long drive by adding muscle mass in 2020 and 2021.
Between his victory and his close calls, he said that he has worked on how he puts pressure on “Set back to Straight and Square” for next time.
He said, “All the feelings that I have and whatever I have and all the things I am thinking about, I lay down it over time,” they explained. “‘Has it gone or is it still? If it is not fixed then how do I fix it?” Then if it is decided, then let’s go to the next thing, I need to deal with. ,
Decombo was in the final group with McLero on Sunday at Masters and took them away after two holes. But Dacombo faded in 75 in a final round, and the Northern Irishman held a rally to win his fifth head and complete the career Grand Slam.
Earlier this month, Dechambo took his third personal live golf victory in South Korea in 65–66–66, including a nine-nine 30 to emerge from a pack, including a nine 30 on Sunday.
“It was very important for me to work, and shooting 30 at nine behind me gave me some confidence, to find out that I can do it under pressure,” Decombo said. “It was not the right way for me to struggle on the front nine, but there were nine types of things of that nine types for me and kept me very comfortable. Very positive.”
