Bruno Demian’s penalty strike sent the union on fire

Bruno Demian’s 10th-minute penalty kick won 1–0 on the Chicago Fire on Wednesday of Philadelphia Union.
The victory extended Philadelphia’s club-riddled unbeaten line to 11 matches (8–0-3). This outstanding run of the game has increased the union (12-3-4, 40 points) to the top of the overall MLS table.
Chicago (7-7-4, 25 points) is on losing a two-match streak. The fire is one of the high scoring teams of the league, yet they are now scorched in consecutive matches.
In the eighth minute, Chicago defender Andrew Gutman made a unwanted mistake that eventually decided to match. Chris Donovan’s shot in the box hit Gutman’s outstrachted arm, resulting in handball calls and penalty kicks for the union.
Demiani clinically buried the shot for the Go-Farward Tally. This was Uruguay’s third goal in 18 regular sessions after coming to Philadelphia in a transfer deal last February.
Another strong outing was all the union in the rescue of the team. Philadelphia has allowed only 19 goals this season, the third lowest in MLS.
Philadelphia goalkeeper Andrew Rick rescued one for his fourth clean sheet of the season. The 19 -year -old backup has started eight of the union’s last nine regular season matches, as experienced starter Andre Black has missed time due to injuries and international duty.
The fire kept 55 percent occupied, but that pressure was difficult to translate into quality opportunities. Chicago excluded Philadelphia from 15–11 in total, but the Sangh took a 3–2 lead in shots on goals.
Philip Zencarnegel equaled a long -range explosion in the about 39th minute, but the forward’s shot away from the crossbar and went to the net. The fire scoring leader Hugo Cupepers also had a pair of civilized opportunities beyond the net in the first half.
The union’s defense dominated the second half until the Brian Gutrez almost snatched the previous one of the late Equalizer of Rick during the stoppage time. Defender Jacob Glace took a cani step to stop the ball and overcome the shot of the gutize to preserve the lead.
