Boston Breens on Monday signed a contract for Defenseman Mason Lohrei for two years, $ 6.4 million through the 2026–27 season.
The 24 -year -old Louisiana native was selected by Bruce in the second round of the 2020 NHL draft and was due to becoming a banned free agent in July.
Lohri appeared in 77 matches in 2024–25 and recorded 33 points (five goals, 28 support). He was second on Bruce in Power-Play Points (16) and fourth in Block (103).
He has 46 points (nine goals, 37 aids) and 34 penalty minutes in 118 career games since he made NHL debut in November 2023.
