Compulsory Credit: Brad Rampale-Imagon Picture Bris Turang hit a three-run homer, RHYS Hoskins hit a single shot, and Milwoki Bruers held a 9–8 win over Minnesota Twins on Sunday afternoon in Minianpolis.
Hoskins also had an RBI double for Milwauki, which completed the three-game sweep and improved a season-hai eight game above 500. Christian Yelich went with a double and RBI to shut down a major series on 2 -Four -5, scoring 10 runs in three matches.
Biren Buxon hit two solo home runs to lead the twins in the plate. Tye France and Ryan Jeffers also worked for Minnesota, who lost their ninth time in their last 10 matches.
Brucers Left-Handing Rob Zobstaries (2–1) won with two-thirds of the scorer relief. He was one of the seven relievers to follow the right -handed Quin Perster, who gave three runs on nine hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Twins Right-Hand David Festa (1-2) scored eight runs on 12 hits in 4 2/3 innings. He went three and hit three.
Brucers Closure Trevor Megil picked around the trouble to gather his 17th savings around trouble in the ninth.
Minnesota scored five direct runs to pull within 9–8, but did not complete the return.
After five innings, Bruers took a 9–3 lead.
The score was also 2-All Heading at the top of the third. Yelich scored with a single to Left in the Go-Farward run, and Hoskins increased the Brucers’ lead 4–2 with a sacrifice fly.
Kaleb Durbin scored 5–2 in the top of the fourth by Festa on a wild pitch.
Jeffers cut the deficit 5-3 with a single shot under the inning.
Milwauki scored four more runs in the fifth to take advantage of six runs. Turang hammer the three-run homer in the right-centers, and the year Flicic took an RBI single at the center.
Buxton brought twins within 9-4 in the sixth with his second home run.
In the seventh, Minnesota scored two more runs to pull within 9–6. Carlos Korea and Jeffers scored a run in Apis.
France defeated the twin children’s deficit 9-8 in the eighth to hit a two-line shot. The twins threatened to harm more with the first and third runners at the first and third, but Megil hit Jona Brid to end the innings with a fastball at the outside corner.
