In the same move, Bruers called Tobia’s Tobias Myers from Triple-e Nashville.
Brucers signed Quintana as a free agent on 5 March, and he was distributed to them. He is 4–1 with 2.65 ERA in the beginning and given 12 runs (10 earned) in 34 innings.
The 36-year-old Quintana spent the last season with New York Mets, finishing 10–10 with 3.75 ERA in 170 1/3 innings. In his career, which began in 2012 with Chicago White Sox is 106–104 with eight teams with 3.72 ERAs.
This step is retrospective till Sunday. He last picked Tampa Bay rays to lose 4-3 on Friday. He gave three runs (one earned) in 5 1/3 innings of no-decision.
26-year-old Myers has a 10-6 career record with 3.09 ERA in 32 shows (29 beginnings) for Milwauki.
