Milwauki Bruers hoped that the first Basman Rice Hosins were remembered to remember from “a few days” when he excluded Miami Marlins with a discomfort of the left thumb on Saturday after the team lost 4–2.
“It doesn’t look great,” Bruers manager Pat Murphy said after the game. “This is not a fracture. He doesn’t feel very good right now. It’s your lower hand to swing, so it is really important.”
32 -year -old Hoskins took RBI Triple later in the second innings before leaving the game in two innings. Hawkins experienced a thumb agony after allegedly catching a wrong throw from Shortstop Joy Ortis and tagging Eric Wagaman of Miami.
Murphy and a Bruber trainer immediately participated in Hoskins after the drama, although the first Basman ended the innings before being replaced by Jake Bauers in the fifth. Hoskins tried to catch a bat before the innings, but told Murphy that he could not go.
Murphy said, “This should happen for this and Rice Hoskins, because I know who he is, it’s really hurting,” said Murphy. “I don’t think we’ll look at him for a few days. Hopefully it’s not an IL, but it may depend on how he feels in the next few days.”
Hoskins is batting. 242 with 12 homers and 42 RBI in 82 games.
