Bribo’s second half penalty kick propels union past Atlanta United

Tai Bribo scored a penalty kick in the 59th minute on Saturday night, who visited the Philadelphia Union to win 1-0 at Atlanta United.

Philadelphia (9-3-2, 29 points) won his second direct game and scored points for sixth consecutive outings. The union scored six shots on the goal of Atlanta, despite Atlanta captured 65 percent of the match. Philadelphia also earned Atlanta season sweep after a 3–0 win at home on 19 April.

Atlanta (2-7-5, 11 digits) fell for the fifth time in seven attempts and scorers for the sixth time. Goalkeeper Brad Guzan made five savings in the defeat, while Atlanta hit only two shots on the goal for an additional time.

Alejandro Bedoya threatened in the 47th minute, but his head failed to the left for Philadelphia. Mickel Uhre of Philadelphia blocked his shot in the 54th minute, resulting in the yellow card of Luis Abram, the 59th had the 11th goal of the MLS-Agni year of the successful penalty shot-Israeli of Bribo in the 59th.

Atlanta plays his second one of the three straight domestic matches next Sunday when he hosts FC Cincinnati, while Philadelphia returns home on Saturday to face Inter Miami CF.
