Brews’ Chris Sales becomes the fastest for 2,500 strikes

Chris Sale made a history of baseball with his last pitch of night on Thursday.
Atlanta Braves Ace prepared Philadelphia Philis’ Edmondo Sosa to end the sixth innings, ending the 2,500th strike of the sales career.
The left-handed player became fastest in baseball history to reach 2,500-A milestones, reaching there in 2,026 innings. The record was earlier organized by Randy Johnson, when he taunted his 2,500th batsman after 2,107 2/3 innings in 1999.
“I appreciate what it is, but I try that I still didn’t even be caught in luggage,” Sales said that Braves shut down a 9-3 victory to achieve a day-and-night doubleheading partition in Philadelphia. “I know what our job is. And no matter whether you have a good or bad, next one is one of the most important.”
Atlanta manager Brian Snightker said about the sale, “He is like doing the hall of fame. The man is probably a baseball fan in any way, just the history of sports and competition. He is a bowler, and it is really good to see.”
After allowing two hits and three walks, taking out eight phillies, sales are 3-3 with 3.06 era through 12 this year.
While their number is decent, they are far from last year’s production to win the National League Cyg Young Award. Sales won the Pitching Triple Crown by leading the league in Jeet (18), ERA (2.38) and strikeouts (225). He took just three losses and was the top of Major among the lowest homeers in nine innings (0.5) and the highest strike per nine innings (11.4).
SAIL, 36, is an eight-time all-star that helped Boston Red Socks win the 2018 World Series. He has picked for the Chicago White Socks (2010–16), Boston (2017-19, 2021-23) and Atlanta (2024–25).
He owns a record of 141-86 with 3.04 ERA in 384 Career Games, 304 begins.
