Brent Burns, avalanche agrees to conditions on one year deal

The Colorado avalanche announced on Wednesday that they had agreed to the terms with experienced defenseman Brent Burns on a one -year deal. The conditions were not disclosed.

40-year-old Burns, 246 regular-seasons played in regular-season competitions and 41 playoff games in the last three sessions with Carolina storm. In this last season, he produced six goals and 23 aids for Carolina-2020-21 seasons since his lowest yoga-but average of 20:57 of the time of snow per game. He added five points (one goal, four aids) to the 15 Stanley Cup playoff games.

An Ironman, Burns, held the longest line of sports continuously among active players, skating in 925 consecutive games before remembering a game vs versus senators on 17 April.

Their size (6-foot-5, 228 pounds) and are known for asceticism, Right-shot Blue-Loniers have 261 goals and 649 assist (910 points) in 1,497 games-the eighth most time by a defenseman plays with 56 goals and 56 in 135 playoff games.

Burns took home to the 2016-17 Noris Trophy (Top Defenseman) after collecting 76 points and average of 24:52 snow time per game. He turned all the defensemamen into goals and digits in all skates, leading all the skates with 320 shots on the target. Defenseman also finished fourth in the Heart Memorial Trophy (League MVP) voting and was a finalist for the Ted Lindsay Award (the most outstanding player as a vote by NHLPA) in that season.

Burns was also a finalist for the Noris Trophy in 2015-16 and 2018-19. In additional praise, NHL Postson First All-Star Team (2016-17 and 2018-19), second All-Star Team Nodes in 2015-16, six All-Star Games and 2014-15 NHL Foundation Player Awards are being nominated twice for outstanding charitable work in the winning community.
