Brad Marchand shows OT Vizardry as Panthers Down Maple Leafs

Brad Marchand left in overtime with 4:33 as host Florida Panthers defeated Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 at sunrise on Friday night.
After bouncing the bounce from Toronto’s Morgan Riley’s body, it was the fourth career overtime goal of March in the playoffs. This number is the fourth highest among the active players, leaving behind only Corey Perry, Patrick Kane and team partner Carter Verheghe (five Apis).
Leafs defeated the second round playoff series 2–1. The game is set to sunrise on 4 Sunday night.
Alexander Barkov, Sam Renehart, Carter Verhaighe and Jona Gadjovich also scored for panthers, who are Stanley Cup Champions.
Ivan Rodrigues had two assist couples from the panthers, who received 27 saves from Sergei Bobarovski.
John Thawres scored twice, and Matthew Naje and Morgan Reeli scored one goal for Leafs, who blew the 3–1 second-pierde lead. Mitch Morner, Auston Mathews and William Nilender gave each assistance to each, which also received 31 saves from Joseph Vol.
Toronto scored just 23 seconds in the game. Marner’s shot shut down the crossbar, and kneeled away from the Panthers Defenseman Aaron Ablad before hitting the open left side of the net.
The Leafs made it 2–0 on Taras’s rap-round goal, with 14:03 earlier.
Florida first found on board on a target with 12:22 balances. Reinhart deprived Barkov, who took a step and lost his lead after going to the net. Pak then drove out Rielly’s stick.
Toronto got his power play, left 17:08 in the second. Marnar’s shot found Tarares’s stick, and that deflection bounced from the body of Panthers Defenseman Gustav Forceling.
But the panthers scored two goals in the next three minutes, tied the score 3-3.
First, Reinhart, despite the efforts of Leafs Defenseman Brandon Carlo, made a scuffle on a scuffle that had half a stick and yet tried to keep the Pak back with the back of the line with deceit.
Then, Matthew Takachuk loosened the Pak on a forecheck. Sam Bennett threaded a backward pass between Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsen and Wole. Verheghe had an easy task, tapping the puck into an open mesh.
Gadjovich, away from the crowd, then gave Florida a 4–3 lead, with a tip-in shot in another with 4:53.
Toronto tied 4-4 score 4-4 with the remaining 9:04 in the third. The shot from Riley’s right wing was stopped by Bobarovski, but the Pak Panthers Defenseman Seth Jones jumped from the right leg.
