Box ‘Demian Lillard of medicine, but no timeline set for return

Milwauki Box Star Guard Demian Lillard has been approved for full basketball activity, the team announced on Thursday.
He was treated for the thrombosis of the deep vein in his right calf and was taking blood and thin medicine, forcing him to sit out of the last 14 games of the regular session. The team said that it is no longer on medicine.
He will not play in game 1 of the first round playoff series between the number 5 (48-34) and number 4 pacers (50-32) in Indianapolis on Saturday.
“We are thrilled for Dame,” said John Horst, general manager of the box. “Our priority has always been the health of Dame. We are grateful to our medical team for the diagnosis and treatment of our DVT in an early stage, and in the Mayo Clinic for world-famous hematology experts. Each stage of recovery of the dam has been in the direction of world class medical professionals and allowed their specific and strict protocols.”
The team said Lillard, 34, will continue “growing” its basketball activity as he prepares to return to play, but does not offer a time -line.
In the season, the nine-time all-star took up an average of 24.9 points in 58 games, 7.1 assistance and 4.7 rebounds. More than 900 career games with Portland Trail Blazers (2012-23) and box, they have an average of 25.1 points, 6.7 aids and 4.3 rebounds.
