Blue like RHP Jake Blas to undergo UCL surgery

One of the top possibilities for Toronto Blue Jais, Jake Blas, will undergo surgery to repair the Ulnaar Collateral Ligament (UCL) in its right elbow.
The 23-year-old right-handed batsman started the season in Triple-e Buffalo as the number 6 probability for Toronto by MLB Pipeline, but the 6-foot-3, 223-pound pitcher was out against the Eowa cub holding his right hand holding his right hand from the beginning of May 3. Imaging revealed the boundary of injury.
Blaose posted a back-to-back scorer outing in late April, which, due to injury, after a promising turn, when he was struggling early with 13 earned runs in 11 1/3 innings in the last three starts.
Toronto manager John Schneider said on Tuesday that it was uncertain if Blaus needed a full tommy John surgery.
Blaus, the third round of draft pickle of 2023 was obtained from Houston Astro last year, for which Blaus performed three in 2024. He went 0–1 with 6.94 ERA and 0–1 with 11 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings.
