
Toronto Blue Jais placed the second Basman Andres Jimanez in the 10-day injured list on Sunday due to a left ankle sprain.
This step was one of the several transactions for the team, retrospective on Saturday. Toronto recalled outfielder Joy Loparfido from Triple-e-Buffello, opted for right-handed Lazaro Estrada for Buffello, activated right-handed Ryan Bur from the 60-day injured list and to assign a specified stay outfielder Wil Robertson.
26-year-old Gimnez last played on Friday and re-twisted his ankle while running the hideouts during a 4–3 victory in 10 innings on a tour of Los Angeles Angels. He also experienced inconvenience even during a three-touch demonstration against New York Yankis on Wednesday, Blue Jas sat at him at the conclusion of the series, before he tried to return on Friday that was less cut.
Toronto has won seven directly despite its unavailability.
In 2022, Gimnez, an all-star with Cleveland’s parents, is batting. 218 RBI in 61 matches in their first season with five domestic runs and with Toronto. He was also on IL and out 24 games with Quad Strain from 7 May to 3 June.
Gimenez is a career. 257 hitters with 54 homers and New York Met’s (2020), Cleveland (2021-24) and 245 RBI in 629 regular-season games for Toronto.
The 31-year-old Bur has not picked this season due to the correct shoulder inflammation this season after joining the 60-day injured list in March. He threw a scorer inning at Triple A on Wednesday.
For his career, Bur Chicago White Socks (2018-19, 2021-22) and Blue Jais (2024) have 4.10 ERA, 51 walks and 4-5 with 113 strikes in 107 2/3 innings in 100 games (six starts).
The 26 -year -old Loparfido has not played in the major league this season. He played in a total of 81 matches for Houston Astro and Blue Jais in 2024 and batted with four homes and 25 RBI. He batted for Buffalo this season. 278 with six homeers and 39 RBI in 76 matches.
The 26 -year -old Estrada allowed one run in four innings for two hits and a 2.25 ERA, as well as four strikeouts in his leading league debut against Angels on Saturday. It began in Buffalo in Buffalo at Buffello at the beginning of more than 15 in innings with 4.27 ERA, 21 walks and 66 strikes.
27 -year -old Robertson started his major league on 15 June and batted with one RBI in three matches. 100 (1 -for -10).
