Columbus carried forward the former Blue Jacket to Brendon Gaons from Minnesota Wilde on Thursday in exchange for Minor League Forward Cameron Butler.
31 -year -old Gaons collected one assistance, four penalty minutes, seven blocked shots and 18 hits in 12 matches last season, his lonely campaign with The Wilde.
For his career, Gouns has 29 points (13 goals, 16 aids), 71 penalty minutes, 52 blocked shots and 189 regular-season games in Vancouver Canx (2015-19), Boston Bruins (2019–20), Blue Jacket (2021-24) and wild.
The 23 -year -old Butler appeared in a game with a blue jacket on March 30, 2024 against Pittsburgh Penguin. In the previous season, Butler recorded three points (two goals, one aid) and 74 penalty minutes in 37 matches with AHL Cleveland.
