Billy Hostel has hip surgery, Miss month

Billy Horsel will undergo the right hip surgery next week and recall the months of the PGA Tour competition, he announced on Tuesday.
In a statement posted to X, Horsel offered a time -term, which would force him to remember three remaining major tournaments of 2025. He said that he decided to undergo surgery, which would be done in Colorado, which would be after consultation with medical experts and his team.
“This is an unfortunate situation in which many great events have been left on the calendar, but it is a preventive measure,” he said. “I am already having itching to start rehabilitation, coming back to practice and I am eager to return to the course for some time around the late summer/initial decline.”

The eight -time PGA Tour Champion, his most recent victory came to the Coreless Puntakana Championship in the Republic of Dominican in April 2024.
Horsel, 38, played in 12 events in 2025, recalling five of them, including the Masters tournament. His best finish came with a T4 at the Valspara Championship in March, one of his two top -10 in this season.
He last played the RBC inherited in the late April, ending T27.
Hostel has been ranked 24th in the World Golf Ranking and number 58 in Fedex Cup Standing.
In this spring, he was part of the Atlanta Drive GC team which won the inaugural championship of Tech-Pailed TGL.
