Big 12 Boss Brett Yormark gets 3 years extension

The Big 12 conference on Tuesday approved a three -year contract expansion for Commissioner Brett Yormark.
The board of directors of the league voted to expand its original five-year deal to end in 2027 through 2029–30 academic year.
The 58 -year -old Yormerk made Bob Ballsby a success in 2022. He helped Big 12 to navigate a national feeling of the landscape of the conference and promoted his membership at the South -East conference with the departure of Texas and Oklahoma.
The chairman of the board and chairman of the boiler Linda Livingstone said, “Brett’s strategic thinking and creative initiative have been important for the success of Big 12, and we are ready to build this speed in the years ahead.”
In 2022, Yormark made a new $ 2.3 billion television deal with ESPN and Fox and shepherds for four former PAC -12 members: Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah’s 2024 additions. He oversee the expansion of the first conversation to bring BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF into Guna in 2023.

I am thrilled to continue working with my member schools because we increase and strengthen the big 12 at a conference that is innovative and can be ready for the future.”
