Ben brown, cubs ride motion in Finale vs. Philis

The Wednesday match -up between Ben Brown and Jesus Lujardo Chicago cubs and Philadelphia Philos are running in different directions.

Chicago’s Brown (3-4, 5.37 ERA) reduced its era with more than one run on its previous two outings. He conceded a total of two runs in 13 innings, including a crisp performance against the tigers on Friday.

Brown gave two runs and hit seven in seven innings in Detroit. He competed fiercely against the rule of American League Cyg Award winner Tariq Skubbal before ending with strict and harm.

“Ben can go to toe to toe with someone,” Cubes Manager Craig Counsel said about the 25 -year -old right -handed batsman. “I think he showed that (Friday) night. He was Ben’s best fastball of the year.”

Brown faced Phillies on 26 April, when he gave six runs in 3 2/3 innings in a 10–4 defeat. This is his only career appearance against Philadelphia, who originally drafts him in 2017 before working in Chicago in 2022.

Lujardo (5–2, 4.46) has seen its era more than doubled in its previous two outings. He gave a career-high 12 runs in 3 1/3 innings against Melvauki Brevers on 31 May before scoring eight runs in 2 1/3 frames against Toronto Blue Jais on Thursday.

“Something is clear that we are missing,” Lujardo said. “First 11 start, the lights are out, and then the next two 20 earned runs. There will be something that we can find and fix and do that change. It is to be fast.”

Lujardo opposed Brown in the April 26 competition. He conceded two runs and inadvertently starts against the cub with 2.43 ERA in six lifetime to improve 3–0 in innings.

Chicago enters a three-game rubber match on Wednesday with a slight speed after homeing four times in the victory of 8–4 on Tuesday. Ian Hap hit two of those domestic runs-In addition to a soak on Monday in the loss of chain-khol of cubs-and now there are more domestic runs on this road trip (four), as he was entering the trek (three).

Additionally, the cub’s bulpana grew up with a 4 2/3 scorer innings on Tuesday, leading to a chance to regain the crime and eventually pulled away from Philips.

“It’s very big,” said Hap. “You look at a game like today, (Starter Colin Ri) comes out of the game and they lock it. They don’t leave any more runs. They give us a chance to connect and be four, and also save our back-ends for (Wednesday). It’s too big.”

Dansbi Swansan and Michael Bush also prepared for Chicago, which lost four of their last six matches. Meanwhile, Phillies have dropped 10 of their last 12.

Many Philadelphia players are struggling in a plate including Kyle Schwarber, which is 4 -for -35 (.114) with 17 strikes this month. The team has a lack of power with Schwarber conflict and Bryas Harper (wrist).

“I think (Shakti) will come,” said manager Rob Thomson. “We are just going through a stretch where we are not finding the ball in the air and taking it in interval. It will come. This lineup has more power that we are showing now.”
