BCCI is yet outstanding WPL, IPL 2025, amending allowance policy

BCCI is yet to pay the outstanding amount for its employees from IPL 2025, with some payments pending since January. The Indian Cricket Board has amended its policy since then, recently organized the payment in the AGM meeting. According to the new policy, the allowance of Rs 10,000 per day is set in the flat.

BCCI gave an allowance of Rs 10,000 per day, employees to get 300 USD abroad

According to a PTI report, the BCCI has revised a policy for allowance to BCCI employees in all departments. The Indian Cricket Board is yet to be drew out from January and they will be done as per the amendment. The current policy paid Rs 15,000 per employees per day for short -term travel, with a long period of time Rs 10,000. The same applies to travel to the IPL, WPL and ICC events hosted by India. Once contingency payment was fixed at Rs 7500.

Now, the revised policy has fixed the price of 10,000 per day for its visit. According to a PTI report, a BCCI source said that employees received Rs 6500 per day after TDS (tax deduction at source). The Cricket Board of India did not pay the outstanding amount to its finance, operation and media departments for the WPL and IPL 2025 season. Now that the policy has been prepared, the arrears should be fulfilled soon.

“A clear deduction policy was required in terms of allowance as some employees were claiming allowances when they were working outside the Mumbai headquarters during the tournament. The source told PTI.

300 USD per day should be paid for India vs England series

The 70-day IPL 2025 meant that a BCCI employees traveling for the entire tournament could claim a maximum of Rs 7 lakh. Employees can claim 60 percent of the maximum allowance for a limited journey, while 40 percent without any travel.

For foreign tourism, employees are paid Rs 300 per day. The policy will apply to the India vs England series, which will begin at the end of this week. However, top brass, including Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and Joint Secretary are entitled to a daily allowance of USD 1000 on foreign tourism. They are paid Rs 40000 for a day meeting within India and Rs 30000 per day for multi-day domestic work journey.
